We at Spring Wind wish you a healthy and happy Year of the Fire Horse! Thank you for being a valued part of our community.

At the start of 2026, we shared the following message with our email subscribers. We’re reposting it here for those who may have missed it.

2025 in Reflection; Looking Ahead to 2026, with Gratitude

As the new year begins, we at Spring Wind wanted to take a moment to thank you.

Spring Wind exists because of the practitioners and companies who choose to work with us. Your trust in our sourcing, our standards, and our team is something we never take lightly.

Looking back on this past year, we’re very grateful for the steady progress we’ve made together.

We deepened our relationships with several long-term farming partners in China growing organic Chinese herbs, expanded our organically grown offerings, and continued to strengthen our testing, traceability, and quality systems.

Key Progress at Our Growing Bases Include:

- Successfully reduced pesticide use in Chen Pi cultivation, achieving residue levels that meet European standards. This is an ongoing project to hopefully transition Chen Pi to organic cultivation methods.

- Expanded organic growing acreage for multiple herbs

In particular (but not limited to) :
• Organic Chrysanthemum
• Organic Honeysuckle
• Organic Salvia

These organic herbs have shown exceptional growth in both quality consistency and yield.

The past year also included closer collaboration with our friends at Lilium Initiative, allowing us to expand access to more US grown Asian herbs aligned with our shared quality values.

It also marked the beginning of our role as the U.S. importer and distributor for Empirical (Ode) Health Honey Pearls, broadening access to thoughtfully made products rooted in shared standards of quality and integrity.

Each step was taken with care, knowing that the herbs we supply support real people, real clinics, and real herbal products.

We hope all the progress outlined above helps to move Chinese herbal medicine toward a cleaner, more transparent, and more sustainable future. A future rooted in organic and responsible growing practices.

As we Look ahead to the coming year, we’re excited to continue building on that foundation. Some of the areas we’re actively working on include:

  • Expanding organic and wild-simulated growing projects with growers and harvesters through our partners

  • Supporting growers in transitioning toward organic methods through long-term collaboration and education

  • Developing new products made from organic ingredients from our own farm partners

  • Investing further in traceability, testing, and documentation to better support clinical confidence

We’re super excited about what’s taking shape behind the scenes, and we look forward to sharing more with you in the year ahead. Please stay tuned.

We’re grateful to be part of your work with patients and communities, and we’re honored to support the medicine you practice.

As we move into the new year, our commitment remains the same; thoughtfully sourced herbs, uncompromising standards, and a long-term partnership you can rely on.

Wishing you a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2026!

With appreciation,
Andy, Jesse, and all the folks at Spring Wind
